Here in the Islands, we know family is very important. At the Pacific Skilled Healthcare, we strive to treat each resident and client as we would our own family member. Our goal is to provide quality, compassionate care, while also helping each one we touch feel comfortable and at home.

We recognize many Hawaii families feel a strong sense of duty to care for their family members on their own — even if that means making tremendous personal sacrifices and compromising their own health. Pacific Skilled Healthcare makes our services available before family members suffer from burnout. We can care for loved ones when taking care of family members is no longer feasible on your own and help to make that transition as smooth as possible.

You may lack the medical expertise necessary to provide quality care at home, or you may already be stressed and stretched with other family and work obligations. Pacific Skilled Healthcare is here to help you by offering different levels of care depending on the needs of you and your loved ones.
Nursing Homes
Your family member may need specialized medical attention beyond the capabilities of what can be provided in your home. In those instances, our two nursing homes, Oahu Care Facility and Pearl City Nursing Home, offer intermediate and skilled nursing care for adults. We also offer physical, occupational, speech and language therapy. We can accommodate your family member on a short-term or long-term basis.
Long-Term Care for Children
Pacific Skilled Healthcare also specializes in long-term care for children and provides respite for family caregivers. Providing access to quality care for medically fragile children is one of the specialties of Pacific Skilled Healthcare. Kulana Malama offers a warm, inviting setting for medically-fragile children. Respite care also strengthens families, renews their energy, and allows them to enjoy time with their other children.
Ventilator Weaning Program
With expertise in respiratory therapy, Kulana Malama also specializes in a ventilator weaning program for adults, so that they can eventually breathe more freely with reduced dependence on medical equipment.
